Home Builders Association
of Greater Spartanburg
First, I want to share my thoughts and prayers with all those who have been affected by the unprecedented flooding. I want to let you know the HBA's role in the recovery efforts. We have reached out to Emergency Management Services and the Governor's office to inform them that HBA members will be available for damage assessment or other specialized needs as required. We have been asked to be on standby as they asses the scope of damage. Your HBA has sent press releases to local media and building officials on the use of legitimate contractors, and we are preparing a public service announcement for radio in this regard. As we receive additional information and request for our services, I will send it by email.
I also want to reach out to our HBA members in need of assistance. The HBA is a family, and as a family, we are here for one another. If a member and their family is in need of resources (shelter, food, water, money, etc.), please let us, or your local HBA Executive Officer, know so we can get you assistance right away. We are here for one another, and your HBA friends want to help.
As we share in the recovery of our communities, I ask that each of you keep safe and prepare to lend a helping hand to your neighbors. Thank you for all you do for our Association.
